The Heart Goes As It Does

He’s standing at the bus-stop feeling nothing
Nothing ain’t the word but I guess it will do
She told him that it’s over and he’s wondering
How can it be over when a feeling is true.

He’s standing at the bus-stop and he’s crying
The rain begins to say hello which he ignores
He knows a part of his heart is dying
He doesn’t even notice his soaking clothes.

Falling in love is much more than falling
It’s more of an all more of a calling
Falling in love can be seen as annoying…
The heart goes as it does.
Thinking on love is a dream and a passion
Focused on one really needs a reaction
Getting it wrong when you need positive action…
The heart goes as it does,

He’s somewhere in a world that’s his existence
Three buses have now passed that he could’ve got on
He doesn’t make the effort for resistance
He’s trying to work out where he’ll maybe belong.
