Being Ignored

There’s never been a country like we have
How can you not understand that kind of love
Flying the flag is so genuine
The Union the lot they are totally mine.

How can you be a part of this nation
And stand in background avoiding contagion
It’s love or hate no in between
It’s in your blood it’s where you’ve been.

We have to be honest in the modern world
All our heroes are being ignored
All those people that gave their life, were killed
They are all being ignored.
The Cancel Culture mob are destroying us
All our heroes are being ignored
Nobody sees it the way it was
Our heroes are being ignored.

There’s so many thousands that die for us
And so many souls argue what is the fuss
I tingle with at what they have gave
They’re far more than you and I, they are the brave.
