All I wanted was a drink
Just to break up the night
There was nothing on TV
And I fancied that pint.
All I thought of was my beer
And it slipped down my throat
Then my eyes caught on this girl
As she slip off her coat.

I have found her

I tried to stay calm
And overheated
My heart had been defeated straight away.
I had to simply ask her
I had to know her name
And did she have a number
There’s no loss if no gain.
The girl she looked right through me
And then began to smile
Her boyfriend sat down with her
My dream lasted a while.
