Rooting On A Branch

I was listening to the news just there and it’s always doom and gloom
Is there a third world war coming next week or sometime soon
I’m really tired of politics cause they all don’t have a clue
They don’t see the mess we’re in they really don’t know what to do.

And then there’s the Rainbow Mob the Culture Warriors
They say they’re simply doing their bit for simply all of us
They’re changing all our history the Empire made mistakes
But sticking warnings on Disney movies is mixing whisky with milkshakes.

Rooting on a branch
What’s so wrong with wanting to do
Life is like a dance
I’ve no wisdom I ain’t a clue.
Rooting on a branch
Ain’t something I’d do every day
But it only takes a glance
To understand it’s all to obey.

I’m tired of all this reason that doesn’t add to much
What about the people the diverts are out of touch
And what I say and what I do is now being observed
Let killers so let the bad guys go what have they might earned?
