The old lady sits with two coats on and a hat
She’s in her sitting room and there’s silence in her flat
No tv or radio electricity reduction
She’s on her own she stares at walls there is no discussion.
You walk a block of flats and five or six are like that
Cold and dying whilst the migrants get the welcome mat
The Establishment are hypocrites they’re traitors in our mist
The Globalist conspires against us the Devil has been kissed.
What about our elderly oh and what about our poor
And what about the homelessness of ours and where’s the cure
These people need protection but is our country ready
We need to bring these people back no more poor old lady.
There’s veterans that walk the streets discarded by us all
They laid their life out for us they sure answered the call
We hear the politicians dodge it all with what if or it’s maybe
And every time we ignore/forget those like the poor old lady.
And so to this old lady she didn’t fight no war
She admits to no heroics and her life is in a drawer
But ordinary is most of us and cannot be ignored
She has her rights and all they rights have been explored.
