The drunk at the bar has yet another drink
Staring at a mirror at himself and those mistakes
His face moves in contortions like he’s trying to think
He’s lost in understanding that he didn’t take the breaks.
A double cross a double whisky doesn’t help his game
He’s twice married and then homeless one child from each
His stumbling is showing and it helps to hide his pain
He understands that happiness is now well out of reach.
