She’s got maybe a certain place and she doesn’t even know it
It’s one of those and one of them and yet again I blow it
So what to do or not to do I try and work the fix
But she’ll just give a glance and I’ll think okay what is next.
She says she’s a great reader I’ve met many in my time
The more you read the more you wonder then you can’t define
The right and wrong the soft and right it’s hard to make a space
And once again her glance is there and all gone with one gaze.
And so I follow what there is I’m not sure what that means
I try and do what’s right in life so I check out all the seams
She’s done me right she’s done me wrong and that’s the state of play
And every time I catch that glance that tells me she’s with me.
